westin resort offer
The Site: Westin.com aka StarwoodHotels.com/westin

  • More than 160 ultra-modern Westin hotels and resorts worldwide
  • WestinWORKOUT, Heavenly Bed and SuperFoodsRx menu
  • Westin Best Rate Guarantee – If you find a lower published rate within 24 hours of booking , get an additional 10% discount or 2,000 Starpoints
  • Westin.com has no online booking fees
  • Starwood Preferred Guests earn elite level hotel benefits and get Westin special deals
  • Earn Starpoints only by booking your hotel directly on Westin.com or other Starwood websites
  • First hotel branded storefront on Amazon.com with a collection of “wellness focused products”

The Good:

Directly on the Westin hotel search screen you can select to book the hotel with Starpoints or partial Starpoints.  In just one click, this cool option will show you how many Starpoints you need to book the hotel for free or at a discount.  Many Westin hotels are free with 10,000 Starpoints per night, or you can use about 4,000 Starpoints to get about 1/2 off the regular rate.   The amount of Starpoints that you need to redeem for a free night varies per hotel, but all you do is select the “Redeem Starpoints for Free Nights” button or “Book with Cash and Points” button to book with partial points.

We’ve always been advocates of booking hotels directly on the hotels own website, so we highly recommend that you book your Westin hotel on Westin.com (redirects automatically to StarwoodHotels.com/westin, but it’s the same website).  This will allow you to earn and redeem Starpoints, take advantage of their special offers and best rate guarantee.

Finally, Westin has great rates.  We are pleasantly surprised to find many Westin hotels for less than $180* per night in major cities, and these are not run-of-the-mill hotels.  Westin’s are amazing hotels with great reviews on TripAdvisor, at nearly half the price as other comparable hotels.

The Bad:

You won’t find the largest selection of hotels on Westin’s website.  For a huge selection of hotels, we recommend Hotels.com, as they also have no booking or cancellation fees*.

The Fees *:

Westin does not charge hotel booking fees on their website. *Based solely on research done by TravelSiteCritic.com, these figures may be inaccurate and are subject to change. Verify before you buy.

The Deals:

For the best Westin hotel deals, check out *Westin Special Offers* - for perks such as golfing, shopping cards, and free meals.   Search for more Westin Special Offers by visiting Westin.com and entering your destination city in the “Find Offers” search box.

40% OFF your next night at Westin Hotels & Resorts!  For every night you pay our regular rate, you’ll receive 40% off your second night

Complimentary Night when you stay 3 or more!
