Our Editor’s Review:

We have to admit, we were turned off by the fact that we were required to provide our full name, phone number and email address in order to view the “Special Offers” on DiamondResorts.com. We don’t like providing this information to anyone before booking travel online.  After providing our personal deets, we were able to review the Diamond Resorts Special Offers page, which we imagine is probably customized based on our home location. We were offered 6 different 3-night resort packages, all located in the continental U.S., ranging in price from $129-$259.  The destinations included a couple of our faves, such as Sedona, Arizona and Lake Tahoe, at shockingly cheap rates.  High end resorts in Sedona and Lake Tahoe generally cost more than $250 per night, so these 3-night packages are a great deal. The resort packages include 3-nights in a one bedroom resort room, with one little catch.  The catch, as you may expect, is that you must agree to sit in on a 90-120 minute Diamond Resorts timeshare presentation during your trip. Overall, we think that sacrificing a couple hours out of a 4-day vacation is no big deal and would definitely take part in one of these getaway deals because the price is so low for these high-end destinations. Before booking a Diamond Resorts Special Offer, make sure your travel dates are solid, because we could not find their cancellation policy and/or change policy.
