DHR.com formerly gtaHotels.com: gtaHotels has changed their name to DHR.com, which stands for Discount Hotel Reservations. Why did they make the change? gtaHotels said, “There have been and still are many companies trading with similar trade names to GTA but with the global services that we offer and in particular our discounted hotel rates, we felt that the name DHR.com (Discount Hotel Reservations) spells out our main distinctive feature in 3 short letters” – December 2010

Our Editor’s Review:
We find that DHR.com has the best selection of luxury international hotels all in one place. The DHR.com “activity” booking engine makes it easy to plan a vacation full of memorable activities. Back when they were GTAhotels.com you had to email them to book a hotel if you had more than 3 travelers in your group, and we are pleased that they have changed this policy and now allow for online bookings for large families. Now that DHR has changed their email booking system and allow for online bookings for larger parties, we don’t have much negative to say about them. The prices are right and the cancellation policies are reasonable. We also love that the DHR website doesn’t have all the riff-raff that comes with many larger online travel agencies. You don’t have booking fees and generally no cancellation fees to worry about. Simple is good.
DHR.com Fees & Policies:
Fees vary per hotel booked on the DHR.com website. Generally $0 cancellation fee up to 4 days before the check-in date. Refunds from DHR can take about 10 days.

I have used Dhr and will never use them again. I booked and paid for a night in Paris for $316 w/ breakfast on dhr.com. The hotel never received the reservation. I had no hotel and this one was fully booked. After I begged and pleaded the hotel found me a room but at $465 w/out breakfast. I had to do it.
Dhr never refunded me and has yet to contact me besides telling me they received my emails.
Turkish company with Philippines only call center.
Just and FYI, I had used Dhr once before with no problems. Great price and relatively painless, but after my last experience I will never ever use them again.
There is literally nobody responsible you can speak with over there. It has been 3 weeks and I have yet to speak with a supervisor over the phone or by email for that matter.
dhr.com is very reliable, easy to navigate, and has great deals. I recommend to use it.
GTAhotels has good deals!
