Prestigia listed the price at $1,540 for 2 nights, while LuxuryLink&#8217;s deal rang in at just $882 for 2 nights (including $75 resort credit, parking and resort fee). \u00a0Perhaps this initial comparison is unfair to Prestigia, because they are not advertising a &#8220;<em>deal<\/em>&#8221; at The Betsy, and LuxuryLink has fewer properties than they do.<\/p>\n<p>I proceeded to go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jdoqocy.com\/mn97biroiq596A6F895776FDEE7\" target=\"_blank\">Prestigia&#8217;s &#8220;<em>Special Offers<\/em>&#8221; page<\/a> to see what I could find there. I really liked that I could filter the special deals by &#8220;<em>destination<\/em>&#8221; and also by &#8220;<em>interests<\/em>&#8221; like swimming or golf. \u00a0I filtered the deals down to resorts in Cannes with swimming pools, and found a great looking 5-star hotel, the <strong>Five Hotel &amp; Spa <\/strong>from only $287 a night. \u00a0I also really appreciated the rate calendar that pulls up when you click on the &#8220;check availability&#8221; button. This way I can quickly see what nights are available at that price, and I liked it even more when the price went down to $230 for some nights. \u00a0I compared this price with what I found on other online travel websites and on the hotel&#8217;s own website (Five-Hotel-Cannes.com). \u00a0I was pleasantly surprised that <strong>Prestigia.com&#8217;s rate was a full $10 cheaper than any other website I found<\/strong>. I couldn&#8217;t even get a cheaper rate on the hotel&#8217;s own website, so Prestigia&#8217;s pricing came out a winner here. I proceeded to find the best rate on Prestigia.com at the DoubleTree Arctic Club Hotel in Seattle, and also the Marina Palace Hotel in\u00a0Rio De Janeiro.<\/p>\n<p>As for Prestigia&#8217;s cancellation policy, it was a bit vague on their website. I couldn&#8217;t find whether or not they refund the &#8220;deposit&#8221; that you pay at the time of booking. However, they were clear to indicate that <strong>cancellation penalties do apply to reservations and that the exact amount can be found on the hotel&#8217;s description page.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finally, I was very let down by <strong>Prestigia&#8217;s Best Rate Guarantee<\/strong>. It sounds good at first, but it only applies to fully prepaid reservations within the first 24 hours of your booking. That is quite limited and pretty much excludes most customers from bringing a valid claim. Even if you do file a valid Best Rate Guarantee claim, they only refund you the difference. <em>Whoopie<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, I find the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anrdoezrs.net\/59104y1A719PTQUQZSTPRRQZXYYY\" target=\"_blank\">Prestigia.com<\/a> website to have very good pricing on 4-star and 5-star luxury hotels, boutique hotels and resorts. It is not often that I find better rates on a travel agency website, such as Prestigia, than the hotel&#8217;s own websites! \u00a0I highly recommend that you compare pricing on Prestigia before you book a high-end hotel property.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note that the Prestigia.com website is offered in 6 languages and that when you first visit their website it may be in a language that you don&#8217;t speak. To change the language, click on the little drop-down link in the upper-right of the screen at Prestigia.com. You also may need to change the currency to the currency that you will be paying in.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Prestigia.com Fees and Policies:*<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>A deposit is required at booking (% of the total rate)<\/li>\n<li>Your email &#8220;Confirmation of Reservation&#8221; voucher must be presented to the hotel at check-in<\/li>\n<li>Cancellation fees vary per hotel.
