LastMinute.com specializes in last minute weekend trips and last minute travel deals at up to “70% discount”, with the ability to book your trip only 3 hours prior to departure.<\/em><\/p>\n

The LastMinute.com website is simple and user-friendly. \u00a0However, we were a bit put off by the pop-up window that came up after initiating a new search encouraging us to compare prices on other travel websites.

PRICING<\/h3>\n

We must say the package prices on LastMinute.com are exceptional! \u00a0If you would like to book a weekend travel deal, this weekend or next, don’t be surprised if you can nail down the ENTIRE TRIP it for 1\/2 the price of a normal airplane ticket. We found several 3-night last minute getaways for less than $300 per person, which included flight, hotel, and car (before taxes\/fees). If we were to book the flight separately (same dates and airline) the flight we found was over $550 per person! \u00a0Usually we are skeptical of the whole “save money booking a package<\/em>” hype, but LastMinute.com\u00a0truly has the best last minute deals around.

FEES<\/h3>\n

Fees are charged for airfare purchases. The amount is itemized at the time of purchase. $25 to change a hotel reservation & cancellation policies vary depending on the hotel. Read the terms before you buy. Vacations are generally non-refundable. If you cancel a package, it is are “subject to a penalty imposed by the vendors<\/em>“.

LastMinute.com has mixed reviews online. \u00a0We found several customer complaints that Last Minute’s customer service is far less than expected.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

UNIQUENESS<\/h3>\n

The best aspect of LastMinute.com is that it simply is what it is:\u00a0 last minute \u00a0travel deals. The only problem we found is that most vacation packages are non-refundable. But, we feel since bookings are made at the last-minute anyhow, most travelers won’t have to cancel.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n
