B&#8217;s and inns, all-inclusive resorts, and the trendiest hotels<\/li>\n<li>Get trip ideas based on the type of trip you want to take, such as adventure vacations, family vacations, or casino vacations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"simplePullQuote right\"><p><strong>TripAdvisor&#8217;s partner sites include:\u00a0\u00a0Booking Buddy,\u00a0Cruise Critic,\u00a0SmarterTravel,\u00a0Seat Guru,\u00a0Airfarewatchdog,\u00a0VirtualTourist,\u00a0TravelPod,\u00a0FlipKey, and\u00a0Family Vacation Critic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Our Editor&#8217;s Review<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><a title=\"TripAdvisor reviews\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tkqlhce.com\/click-3040923-10777599\" target=\"_blank\">TripAdvisor<\/a> is\u00a0undoubtedly\u00a0our favorite online travel resource for hotels. \u00a0Literally every time we book a hotel, we check the hotels rating, reviews and pictures on TripAdvisor before it is booked. \u00a0It&#8217;s so easy to compare hotel reviews on TripAdvisor that there is no reason not to use this site on a regular basis, we think it&#8217;s utterly awesome. \u00a0 TripAdvisor also provides you with the hotels average pricing and quick links to booking sites so that you may book the best rated hotels quickly. \u00a0We still recommend that you <a href=\"http:\/\/travelsitecritic.com\/reviews\/articles\/book-hotel-direct\/\" target=\"_blank\">book the hotel directly on the hotels own website<\/a> for a multitude of reasons, but not until after you have checked the traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.<\/p>\n<p>TripAdvisor&#8217;s flight search engine is also fantastic, and on par with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/aan.atrinsic.com\/z\/415\/2207\/&amp;subid1=2241\" target=\"_blank\">Kayak&#8217;s flight search engine<\/a>. \u00a0 TripAdvisor also has a nice baggage fees estimator on their flight search engine, which is great to have as airline fees have been climbing in recent months.<\/p>\n<p>Beware that the folks over at <a title=\"TripAdvisor fake reviews?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.anrdoezrs.net\/click-4017519-10778603?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.msnbc.msn.com%2Fid%2F31928795%2Fns%2Ftravel-news%2F\" target=\"_blank\">TripAdvisor actually outed themselves a couple years back<\/a> and admitted that it is possible that some of the hotel reviews and ratings are fake. \u00a0 TripAdvisor began placing disclaimers in a red box next to a few hotel reviews that are suspicious, stating that the the specific hotel reviews may be &#8220;manipulated&#8221;. \u00a0 This has the conspiracy theory community\u00a0reeling, with several claiming that TripAdvisor is a scam. \u00a0 We think that it was very smart on TripAdvisors part to provide these disclaimers, after all, with over 30 million hotel reviews on their site it is hard to believe that none of them are fake. \u00a0 We would not go as far as to call TripAdvisor a scam, because the vast majority of the reviews on the site are authentic. \u00a0 When in doubt, check other sources, such as Yelp. \u00a0 Just type the name of \u00a0the hotel with the word &#8220;reviews&#8221; into Google to find reviews from additional sources. \u00a0Ironically, TripAdvisor has a blog entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqzyfj.com\/click-4017519-10778603?url=http%3A%2F%2Ftripadvisor.wordpress.com%2F\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;<\/a><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqzyfj.com\/click-4017519-10778603?url=http%3A%2F%2Ftripadvisor.wordpress.com%2F\" target=\"_blank\">We Are Not Making This Up<\/a><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqzyfj.com\/click-4017519-10778603?url=http%3A%2F%2Ftripadvisor.wordpress.com%2F\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;<\/a>. \u00a0 Really? \u00a0That just made us laugh.<\/p>\n<p>We are disappointed that\u00a0<a title=\"TripAdvisor reviews\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tkqlhce.com\/click-3040923-10777599\" target=\"_blank\">TripAdvisor<\/a> is not a travel booking agent, which means that you cannot book a hotel or vacation from them. \u00a0They simply direct you as to where to go to book their best rated hotels or vacation ideas. \u00a0We feel like TripAdvisor may be missing out on a great opportunity here and perhaps they will offer on-site hotel and vacations booking in the future. \u00a0Nonetheless, they have many travel booking sites as partners and link you to them for quick booking.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">TripAdvisor Fees and Policies *<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>TripAdvisor is free to use and does not book travel so they have no fees as far as we can tell.\u00a0\u00a0<em>*Based solely on research done by TravelSiteCritic.com, these figures may be inaccurate and are subject to change.
